Craft your weapon or buy it at the auction house? This Aion 2 crafting calculator gives you the answer, tier by tier.
It uses the exact in-game recipes and the 25% combo system. You enter your prices, it computes the average cost of every item, from the white craft up to Splendent Ebony. At each tier, it tells you whether crafting or buying at the auction house is cheaper.

How costs are calculated
The math follows the system explained in our Aion 2 crafting guide.
White, green, blue and gold tiers
Each craft has a 25% combo chance. The combo gives the Splendent version, the only one you can use for the next tier. The chance of getting a Splendent is:
craft success × 25% × combo success
Success depends on the gap between your profession level and the recipe level (Novice 1 to 50 = levels 1 to 50, Professional 1 to 50 = levels 51 to 100). The calculator uses the in-game "Crafting Chance" table: 74% with no gap, 87% with a 20-level gap, up to the 93.1% cap from 44 levels. Pick your level (Novice 1, Novice 30, Professional 1, Professional 35 or Professional 50): with a maxed profession, you need about 4.6 crafts per tier on average.
Star, Dark and Ebony tiers
- Star Dragon: classic craft, which can fail. Its cost is divided by the success rate.
- Splendent Star, Dark, Ebony: Transfer Crafting, guaranteed success. The 25% combo can skip a step, which lowers the average cost.
- Each Dark and Ebony tier also needs a new gold weapon (Artisan's Splendent): it is counted automatically.
Craftable components
Ingots, decorations, refined horns, scales and leathers are computed from their raw materials. Example: one Fine Thick Balaur Horn = 2 Thick Balaur Horn + 1 Zircon Hammer. If you buy them directly, enter their price: it replaces the calculation.

How much does an Ebony weapon cost in Aion 2?
It depends on your server's prices, especially Wrathful materials and Radiant Odyle. Enter your prices in the calculator: it shows the average cost up to Splendent Ebony.
How many crafts do you need for a gold item?
About 4.6 crafts per tier at 93% success, so around a hundred white crafts on average for one gold item. At 100% success, you need 64.
Is it better to craft or buy?
The calculator compares both at every tier. Early tiers are often cheaper at the auction house, late tiers cheaper to craft.
