Introduction

You just hit level 45 and do not know where to start? This Aion 2 checklist gives you the exact order to follow, up to the Gear Score goals that open Vakron, Fire Temple and then Ludra.

The checklist

From level 45 to Gear Score, in order

Level 45 reached, main quest completed
Monolith level 30 (feathers of your region). No need to go further: you do not need feathers past level 30
100% exploration on the Asmodian side (Sealed Dungeons, Strongholds)
100% exploration on the Elyos side, invading through Rifts
10 Orb chests opened in Strongholds (achievement)
100% of Abyss feathers collected
Azphel Daevanions bought (in the Abyss shop)
The 12 Altgard contracts
The 20 Abyss contracts (gold ones matter less: do them depending on their price)
Daily quests
100% of side quests (green)
Amulet and belt upgraded to gold (do not enchant them past +0), obtained by doing Garrisons (Strongholds)
Shugo done, Daevanions collected from the Shugo shop
Nightmare done, Nightmare tokens spent on Daevanions

Goal 1: reach 1,400 Gear Score

Both Clash Runes equipped and enchanted to +1, no higher
Gear enchanted between +2 and +5 (+5 max), with basic Manastones socketed
Missing 1 or 2 Gear Score points? Swap a Manastone or push one item a bit higher

Warning A Clash Rune can break when enchanted. Always keep 2 spare Clash Runes in your inventory, and never try an enchant without a backup rune. Only push them higher if you have the resources and several runes.

After 1,400 Gear Score: Vakron and Gartua

Vakron Expedition: run the dungeon 1.5 times, without opening the chest right away
Vakron Conquest: fill one pity completely, without opening the chest
Take the items you need from the pity rewards
Gartua every 12 hours (items between levels 70 and 86)

Goals 1,600, 1,900 then 2,100 Gear Score

Depending on your needs, Transcendence 1 and Transcendence 2 for white, green and blue Arcanas
If needed, a few Urugugu runs for level 70 accessories

Craft the 20 Odyle in Substance Morph
Buy the 20 Odyle from the shop

Every day (reset at 5 AM)

Equip both Clash Runes at +1, enchant your gear between +2 and +5 and socket basic Manastones. Daevanions from Shugo, Nightmare and Azphel do the rest.

Should you enchant Clash Runes past +1?
